Joe Budden Album Listening Party

Photobucket

Peace Hip-Hop,

Ok, so this post has about three different sources, so I personally won't go in to detail about details. Peter Verry, actually submitted the content and feedback (thank you, sir) you're about to receive below. Peter kicked over some music/slideshow that I couldn't download for some reason, so I had to improvise. I also snatched the picture from Techie (thanks), and the video from John Brown. This took place at Pop Burger... Remember that spot? LOL, I do, and I miss it !!

Enjoy.

New Jersey born-and-raised emcee Joe Budden made a stop at Pop Burger in NYC January 6, 2009 for a listening party for his forthcoming album, Padded Room. The album is set to be released in stores and online on February 24 courtesy of Amalgam Digital. The emcee signed autographs, did interviews and presented the highly-anticipated upcoming album with a detailed explanation of each song. Padded Room features production from The Klasixs, Blastah Beatz, Dub B, Versatile & Dilemma, Moss, Quan and Fyu-chur, as well as a guest verse from The Game on the albums lead single, “The Future.”

The tentative track listing for Padded Room, which is set to release February 24, 2009, is as follows:

1. Now I Lay (produced by Blastah Beatz)
2. The Future feat. The Game (produced by Fyu-chur)
3. If I Gotta Go (produced by The Klasixs)
4. Don’t Make Me (produced by Blastah Beatz)
5. Blood On The Wall (produced by Moss)
6. In My Sleep (produced by Blastah Beatz)
7. Exxxes (produced by The Klasixs)
8. I Couldn’t Help It (produced by The Klasixs)
9. Adrenaline (produced by Dub B)
10. Happy Holidays (produced by Quan)
11. Do Tell (produced by Blastah Beatz)
12. Angel In My Life (produced by Blastah Beatz)
13. Pray For Me (produced by Versatile & Dilemma)

(My personal opinion, the album sounds INCREDIBLE! Having each and every album Joe Budden has released, from before he released his debut album to each Mood Musik mixtape, I could honestly say this is the best work of his career. If you love hip hop then you NEED to pick this up February 24!)

*Side Note: I don't believe he was born in New Jersey... I believe he was born in Harlem, moved to Queens, and then raised in Jersey.
